Refund policy

Our 30-day promise

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to change your mind. No explanation needed, no forms to fill in. A bra needs to be lived in — under a shirt, at a desk, through a long day — before you know whether it is right.

To start a return, email hello@carriageandco.co.uk with your order number. We reply within one working day with everything you need, and we cover the cost of the return.

Your legal right to cancel

Separately from our 30-day promise, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a 14-day cooling-off period. It begins the day after your order is delivered, and you do not need to give a reason to cancel.

A clear statement by email is enough to cancel — there is no form to complete. Once you have told us, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

If you cancel within the cooling-off period, we refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof that you have sent them. If you chose an express delivery upgrade, we refund the standard delivery rate.

The condition of returned items

Please return items unworn, with tags attached and in their original packaging. Trying it on is expected and entirely fine.

We may reduce a refund if an item has been handled more than was necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit — a right we hold under the regulations, and one we exercise rarely.

If something is faulty

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If The Posture Bra arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, you have 30 days to reject it for a full refund.

Email us with your order number and a photograph. In most cases we resolve it without asking you to send anything back.

How refunds are made

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once we have processed a refund, your bank may take a further three to five working days to show it.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law.
